Alternate Year Time Sharing Week for Australian Resorts & Exchange

This is HCAP Alternate year (odd year) weeks membership for sale to both local and overseas buyers.

Each entitlement week allows you to book within the home resort without extra charge for the first 2 years. The 2024 week has been paid for the new owner.

You will get an extra year to use by paying a deferral fee of $169, after 2024.

Other than home resorts, there are also trade partner’s resorts that you can exchange into – subject to our trade partner’s availability. When exchanging, trade partners will ask for an exchange fee. But when paying an exchange fee, the deferral fee is not required. So it’s not usual where members keep to use older weeks for exchanges to try out different resorts.

After you use up all your entitlement weeks in account (or prior to that), you may take up additional bonus weeks. They often get advertised in email, but if you are looking for any countries in particular it could be checked if it’s available as well.

Members may pass onto children, grandchildren as well if they wish to. Currently there are actually quite a number of 2nd & 3rd generation owners since it has been almost 30 years now.

In summary, the membership basically requires you to pay for a levy once every 2 years and provides you with 1 week holiday each time you pay. The one week can be used in the 10 resorts any time of the year, any unit size subject to availability – first come first serve.

Each week can also be used for exchanges into trade partner’s resorts to other countries that have resort affiliated.
